Jira Automation: How to transition an Epic when epic link tasks *only of a certain type* are done?
Use case:
I have an Epic.
Attached to that Epic (via the Epic Link field) are issues of multiple types (Story, Task, Bug, etc).
I need a rule in Automation for Jira that transitions the Epic to the next status in its workflow when all issues of type Task are 'Done.' I need the rule to ignore all other issue types.
The current rule I have in place (screenshot attached) won't work properly because there are other issue types linked to the Epic, and the JQL in the rule looks for an "all issues match" condition.

Hi Nick,
So with your rule, you probably don't want to use a "JQL issues" related condition, since it will actually search every single issue in your Jira instance, not ones attached to that epic. You'll need to use the "Stories (or other issues in this Epic)", then put your matching JQL to see if they are all done.
For example:
