JSU - Embedded google map is not displaying for location text field type

Hi,

I installed Jira Suite Utilities and created a custom field of type "location text field". I included the field on an issue edit screen, created a test issue with some location text, but the map won't show up on the edit screen. Instead the text field is still showing, displaying the location entered, e.g. "Hamburg, Germany".

I created the Google API key, also there is only one screen and one issue type in the project, so no confusion possible. I then followed the steps described in beecom's troubleshooting guide, i.e. reinstalled the add-in, restarted jira, searched logs, raised the logging level for package ch.beecom.jira.jsu to DEBUG. Nothing of interest. Strange, I couldn't find a package in the logging section named com.googlecode.jsu, which is also recommended to be set to DEBUG in the troubleshooting guide.

Can anyone help to make the map display?

Hi,

Did you also enable the GeoCoding API from the google console?
