JIRA to Excel app not connecting to Jira

errors console log info:

getSavedFields(): TypeError: cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name')

Failed to load resource: the server responded with status of 404 ()

Remote Error: user is not logged in to Atlassian

Remote Error: site is not specified 

failed to load autocomplete data: site is not specified

Remote error: slient error

_gotSavedFields: client error



Actions tried:

closed Excel & reopened

Logged out and back into Jira

uninstalled Jira to Excel Add-in and reinstalled

still seeing this issue

Hello, I am also seeing the same issue as Dane had reported. My debug info is almost identical, see below:

  • I have closed and re-opened Excel multiple times - this doesn't fix it
  • I have re-loaded the plugin from the side nav in Excel multiple times - this doesn't fix it
  • I have removed and re-added the Jira to Excel Cloud plug-in multiple times - this doesn't fix it
  • I have ensured that Excel is up to date - updates have been applied and this doesn't fix it. 
  • I uninstalled my entire Office suite and re-installed it - as soon as I opened Excel, the issue was there
  • I have logged in and out of Atlassian multiple times - this has not done anything to fix the issue. 
  • I have waited more than a few days to see if it would resolve itself. This started happening back at the end of January / early February timeframe. 

For what it's worth, I can successfully load the plug-in in Excel browser version and refresh my queries to grab fresh data through Excel online, but I shouldn't have to open in Excel online every time I want to pull fresh data and do analysis and manipulation in the desktop version. Any insight on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
