JIRA Connection from ALM Synchronizer

Hi team,

I'm encountering a connectivity problem with JIRA cloud from ALM Synchronizer 15.0.0.
As you can see below, I got 400 error code when retrieving user permissions.
So my question is : there are any recent updates in JIRA permissions API "/rest/api/2/mypermissions" , and which query parameters are required to get permissions ?

Hi, 

I don't know if this helps or not but this was a known issue with Synchronizer version <= 12.5 and there was a hotfix MicroFocus provided.

The steps for deploying this patch for this older version are:

1. !!Backup jira-adapter.jar from your installation of ALM Synchronizer (e.g. C:\Program Files\Micro Focus\Micro Focus ALM Synchronizer\adapters\lib)
2. Download the zip file from the following link, extract jira-adapter.jar and replace it in the adapters\lib folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Micro Focus\Micro Focus ALM Synchronizer\adapters\lib)

3. Restart ALM Synchronizer service
4. Check the Jira connectivity

 

Again, don't know if this helps but it certainly will give you insight. 

I'd like to also suggest looking at https://softwaresupport.softwaregrp.com. There is a link to the MF KB and Community sites there as well.  

You should be able to create a ticket there as well with Micro Focus.  Also look at the chat support person creating a ticket under Subscription number OR request a trust ticket in lieu of your sub number.

Thank you for taking time to reply.
The problem is that Jira was updated to version 8.5 which is not yet supported by ALM Synchronizer, so we'll create a ticket with Micro Focus to see that in details.
