Issue with syncing Jira with AzureDevOps

We are using TFS4Jira Sync Tool in order to sync our Jira Service Desk with Azure Dev Ops. The synchronisation is working but we experienced some issues for syncing the activities (internal comment).
We assume this is related to the fact that “Activities” are not defined as fields in Jira and the TFS4Jira Sync tool only offers synchronisation for “fields”. Do you have any idea how to solve this issue?
