Maven POM Value Extractor Plugin is only compatible up to v6.6.3 and we want to upgrade to v6.8. Will this plugin work with v6.8? If not, is there an alternative plugin out there that can provide the functionality? Or does the latest version of Bamboo provide this functionality?
Thanks in advance!
Try this add-on Variable tasks for Bamboo
Setting the name of the Bamboo version as maven.version
will allow referencing ${bamboo.maven.version} to replace the POM Version Extractor.

Hi team,
We will be upgrading Bamboo server to v9.2.7 on upcoming Monday (as we want to apply an immediate patch as per https://confluence.atlassian.com/security/cve-2023-46604-apache-activemq-rce-vulnerability-impacts-bamboo-data-center-and-server-1319242919.html?utm_source=alert-email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=bamboo-security-advisory_EML-17516&jobid=106283682&subid=1526851658
We first upgraded Bamboo server on our QA environment to v9.2.7. But it looks like the plugin Maven POM Value Extractor v1.7.0 for Bamboo (by David Ehringer) is not compatible with Bamboo server v9.2.7
Can you please confirm how soon can this plugin’s compatible version will be released?
A question for future releases:- We will be migrating to Bamboo DC son and I don’t think this plugin is also compatible with Bamboo DC. When is the expected date of release for a DC compatible version?
Thanks
