Is there an NTML-compatible plugin for Jira that pulls data from external DBs for custom fields?

It seems that Elements Connect, which otherwise would be the go-to, only supports basic and OAuth authentication while connecting to REST API. They do not support NTLM authentication at the moment, a fact that seems unlikely to change anytime soon, if ever.

I haven't found any posts here or any plugins yet that meet this requirement.  Any information would be much appreciated.

The Jira instance that I am looking to support is on Data Center.

 If there's a way to add on a component that would facilitate the use of Elements Connect that would also be wonderful.
