If this is a server app, then they should be able to detect whether the project has a salesforce connection and selectively display the tab based on a custom condition.

For cloud, it's likely possible too if they store the configuration in an entity property.

Good day @Gonchik Tsymzhitov,

Regarding the behavior of the “Salesforce Comments” Tab, there is currently no configuration to limit this to binded projects only, and will indeed be shown for Jira Issues across all Jira Projects.

However, if a project does not have any associations, a separate banner info message will be shown, indicating that there are no associations with the current issue i.e.:

We do have an existing feature request available here, and I have also dropped my responses in the support ticket. If there are any further questions, please feel free to update there.

Cheers,
Danny

Hi @Chun Wye Ng -Appfire- ,

what if in our system we use 4k projects.

but integrated with SF is only 2 projects.

Looks like unreasonable to show that panel for all other projects.

What do you think ?

Hi @Gonchik Tsymzhitov

Thank you for sharing your concern for instances with large Jira Projects. As of now, the 'Salesforce Comments' Tab however will remain shown, as its functionalities are available across the entire instance when the app is enabled.

If your Jira Project is not added to the bindings, you will see a separate warning banner indicating that the project is not bound to any connection i.e.:

The idea is currently tracked via the Feature Request mentioned:

Hi @Chun Wye Ng -Appfire- ,

to be honest it sounds like need to be reviewed by community.

Because to me for now it is blocker of review that app :(
