I would like to have an automation rule to set the Organization a User is member of in an Issue. Is that possible or does it only work for Groups?

Thanks for reaching out. Automation for Jira does give you the option of adding an Organization as a Service Desk customer if that's what you mean:

no, that wasn't what I meant, I was looking for an automation rule that checks if User is member of Organization xyz and if yes, set the Organisation xyz in the Issue.
For my issue I found another solution, but in general it would still be interesting to find out if that would be possible...
