Is it possible to create "dummy" team members to plan/forecast effort for unknown team members?

Hi all,

is it possible to create team members, that basically serve as a dummy (no Jira user behind) such that we can plan/forecast efforts and adjust our staffing accordingly based on the workload?

Hi Marco - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Sure you can do that, but that user will count towards your license limits. Also, the user will have to be verified through email, so you will need an email that is valid and that you have access to, but is not already in use in your instance.
