Is it posible to import Xray test execution results as JSON using test name instead of testKey?

Alex Lesanu August 7, 2019

Hello,

We are moving to Xray right now and I'm investigating things I can do with this tool. Until now I used JUnit xml file to import execution results from the tests thru API calls. I want to do the same thing using JSON instead of the xml, but I didn't find how. Using JUnit file tests are automatically created or updated after execution, so I think I can do the same thing using JSON. Could someone tell me if it's possible and how?

Hi Alex,

You can do this also using JSON like you are used with JUnit. However, you have always to use Test Key and no Test Name.

Please see our documentation here: https://confluence.xpand-it.com/display/XRAYCLOUD/Import+Execution+Results

Best regards,
