I have set up a custom field for our service desk customer portal with the object picker enabled, however the functionality of the picker is quite limited (max 25 objects, no filtering by attributes). Is there any way to modify the picker to add functionality?
In the custom field details the search template is set to 'Insight Object Searcher'. Could this functionality be added by writing my own search template? If so, where do I begin?
It's not possible to add additional functionality to our custom fields, what can be done is described at https://documentation.riada.se/insight/latest/insight-administrator-s-guide/insight-custom-fields/insight-custom-field
You can see additional information about the objects by opening the object picker, that way you can also search based on any attribute on the objects.
