Hello everyone,
I'm currently trying to create automation that will update object A's attribute with the attribute value of the Inbound Referenced Object B.
Instance : Jira Data Center
Object Types In question: Seat and Employee
Seat object attribute = Filled by Employee
Employee object attribute = Fills Seat
Example Case :
- Create two new objects of object type employee titled, John Doe, and of object type seat, titled Seat 4.
-Set John Doe's "Fills Seat" attribute to Seat 4.
-Automation should then update Seat 4's "Filled by Employee" attribute to John Doe.
- (This automation should also work vice-versa if Seat 4's "Filled by Employee" attribute was entered first)
I've hit a wall and would appreciate any ideas or advice with this problem.
Thanks.
Having the same doubts here. I tried to create an automation that looks in to the inbound reference objects for the values, without any luck
