Recently we moved from Classic to Next Gen, after that I started facing issues in generating Logged Time Report using "Filter by Epic". Based on the solutions mentioned in the forums I tried filter using JQL in Tempo Logged Time Reports. Still the problem is, the report pulls the time logged under the stories tagged not the time logged under subtasks. Below is the example.
JQL: project = ER AND parent in (ER-2)
ER-2 is the Epic
ER-3 - Story 1
ER-4 - Sub Task 1 - 10 hours
ER-5 - Sub Task 2 - 5 hours
ER-6 - Story 2
ER-7 - Sub Task 1 - 3 hours
ER-8 - Sub Task 2 - 4 hours
What I am looking for?: My JQL should pull all the Story under Epic "ER-2" along with subtasks so that when I use the JQL in Tempo's "Logged Time Report", I should get the total hours from the Epic (Parent in Next Gen)
ER-2 - 22 hours (Total)
ER-3 - 15 hours
ER-6 - 7 hours
Currently this is not happening.
Please see the link below on how to generate Tempo report with Next Gen project epic:
