Hello - Simon or anyone from ProForma - I wish to validate a date based on a previously entered date on your dynamic form. For example - I to have a checkin and checkout date. Obviously checkout should be after check in. Can I use any dynamic part of your form features? I can't seem to figure out how.
Hi @Host Zara ,
I am Andrew, support engineer for ThinkTilt's ProForma product.
Thanks for taking the time to write this question. It does make a difference hearing what people need ProForma to do and also how they work around the current limitations.
At this stage ProForma does not have any validation placed on date-picker type fields. Nor are date field question types a usable field for conditional section usage.
We completely understand where you are coming from in terms of adding that functionality to dates.
At the moment our development pipeline is focussed on improving data export and the form saving and loading. This is likely to take up most of our capacity for the next few months; however, I will keep this issue near the top of our backlog and if there is capacity we’ll try and get it done.
Once it is launched you’ll see it in our What’s New feed in the app, and in our changelog https://whatsnew.thinktilt.com
In the meantime, what I would suggest to try would be to perform some validations against your date field in the workflow during the create transition.
Give that a try and see how you go.
Regards,
Andrew.
