I'm trying to use the Atlassian python API to automatically integrate Confluence and Jira.

I'm trying to install the Atlassian python API using pip, but it's not working. It keeps retrying a few times, and then says "Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement Atlassian-python-api" and then "No matching distributions found for Atlassian-python-api"

Is there a certain version of Python or pip or something that I need to be using, or something else I need to do? I also tried using sudo so the permissions shouldn't be an issue.

If the API doesn't work, are there any other good ways to use python to automatically create a Confluence page?
