How to tag automatic

Hey 
I am new in Jira and i working as automation student.
Now i need to make new automation and i will explain.
When some one open a ticket for help and he need manager approval, I want to add a new automation that tag the manger while the manager approval is showing up.

Are you using Jira Service Management? Because that has a built in function for approvals.

To add to Nic his answer above, by using an approval workflow the chosen approver (in this case the manager) will automatically receive an email with all of the request details and the option to approve or decline directly from the email. Moreover, the ticket will then automatically be progressed through the workflow depending on whether it is approved or declined.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I would try to do this with an approvals workflow, not tagging people into stuff.  Tagging approvers just tells them stuff that they need to look at; they then have to make an effort to go find the approval they need to sign off.  If you do this in the workflow, they'll already be in the right place.
