How to set filds readonly or writable by tab?

Hello, everyone. I have a screen with two tabs. Some users can edit all the fields in two tabs, but some can only edit fields in tab2 and read the fields in tab1. I know I can set each field editable or not by programming. However, there are too many fields in the two tabs. I want to know if there are any more efficient methods to handle the problem.

No, you need code to do that.

You could try Behaviours in the ScriptRunner add-on or javascript, but these run client side so they're quite easy to bypass.    The more robust option is Quisapps field security add-on.
