How to secure my account?

I'm not sure what you are expecting us to tell you here?

The Atlassian products work with various ways to log in, all of which are secure unless you do something bad.  There's plenty of advice on not doing those bad things on the internet, and Atlassian systems are no different to others.

I am looking to add an extra authentication so that only the respective user will get log in even if his password is compromised.

2FA? Since you are on server plenty of apps that can do that..
