How do I bring in manager for a user when using LDAP import to populate objecttypes in Insight CMDB. The manager in AD is listed in this format: CN=Bob Smith,OU=New York,OU=IT, etc.
I don't want to use text for the attribute, I'm trying to convert this format into a user.
Hi @Andrea Hakim ,
I did the following:
for the user object I have the distinguishedName attribute, then for the manager attribute on the import I have this object mapping:
objectType = Users and distinguishedName = ${manager}
You can find further information about the object mapping for the import here: https://documentation.mindville.com/display/ICV8/Import+Concept+-+Object+Type+Reference
