How to read the content from a file field in confiforms?

I have tried to use asAttachemnt get methods but I am not able to get the content present in the file with any method. Any help would be highly appreciated?

Hi

ConfiForms virtual function asAttachment provides access to attachment’s metadata

that does not include the contents (as it is not part of attachment metadata)

ConfiForms does not provide methods (as of now) to read the contents of Confluence page attachments.
