We want to try X-ray as test management tool but our product owners are unhappy with test linkage displayed under user stories.
We tried the 2nd approach shared in the link.. creating a separate project but unfortunately it still goes and connects with user stories.
Requirement is : we want to manage complete testing separately with only test cases to be linked to user stories for coverage report.
What do you mean about unhappy with the Test linkage? The link itself? Or the Test Coverage panel?
The link between Stories and Tests is necessary; otherwise, it will not be possible to have coverage of the requirements.
If it is the Test Coverage panel, it is possible to hide the panel:

Unhappy as in they are 'not comfortable' what i meant.
True.. that the aim of linking testcases to stories is for coverage. however the product owners are asking us if therez a way that the test activities do not show under their story boards.
We are new to both, the company and jira. thats one of the reasons why such basic questions popup to understand from experts.
