We are Atlassian Partners and as part of a consultancy we want to automate the following use case:
Automated tests run and when some of the tests fails => the test creates a Bug in Jira (via Jira rest api) and links this bug (also with rest) to a specific Test Run in specific Execution.
The expected result is that when a test Fails the newly created Bug appears in all screens and reports of Xray like - in the number of bugs in the Xray Execution report.
Currenly we are able to create a link via Jira API between the Bug and the Test - but it looks this is not sufficient to make that Bug appear in Xray reporting.
What API calls can be used to achieve the desired behaviour above?
Is that possible and how to link the bug to a specific Test Run via rest api?
