How to inventory all the Jira ReST APIs that are invoked by custom scripts/custom apps ?

Edited

We are migrating from Jira DC (version 8.1.13) to Atlassian Cloud and we do not have inventory  of  the ReST APIs that are called/invoked by our different apps/scripts spread across 100+ teams. The ReST APIs need to modified  and tested to align to Atlassian Cloud hosted ReST v2 APIs  otherwise it will fail after migration if they are using deprecated API semantics .

  • is there any document explaining the differences between Jira Server platform API (ver 8.x) and Jira Cloud APIs  so that developer  can amend the client code ?
  • is there any way to trace the Jira Server 8.1.13  ReST APIs invoked for a  period (for eg week) ?

Sridhar, you should be able to see all your API call in REST END Points, that's where you would have created all REST API calls.

I have to check  with 100+ teams (internal teams, external teams)  and they need to check their source code which is a massive exercise. Rather it makes sense to validate at the  Jira Server end point of the Live system but do not know if there is any mechanism ? (logs are rolled every hour, that option is ruled out)
