How to filter out Requirements/Sub-Tasks which does not QA task in Zephyr Traceability Report?

Rajesh September 24, 2020

Hello !

We are running JIRA in cloud for requirements/bugs etc and Zephyr to manage the test cases and executions.

I have linked the requirements to the test cases & QA Sub-Task.

We execute test cases using automation but d onto trigger Defect creation if script fails as it happens at times due to enhancements.

Now I have two queries:

1. I would like to see that defect column to populate these bugs in Traceability report which does not show now.

How do I manually  link bugs found with manual validation under 'Test Execution' runs with automation?

2. While creating Traceability Report it includes all requirement & Sub-tasks. But, I would like to filter out few stories & Sub-tasks which do not need QA effort.

Is there a way to include only few issues from entire list of fix versions?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rajesh
