How to automatically inherit Tempo Account into sub-task

I am using Jira Server 8.22.2 along with Tempo Accounts 15.7.0.

I have setup a custom field in Jira called "Account" to map the Tempo Account field.

The Account field is setup on an issue and its related sub-task.

If I create the sub-task through the UI the Account drop-down list has an option to select "Inherited from parent"; however, if I create the sub-task using a JMWE post function I can copy the current value of the Account from the parent to the sub-task but it does not give me the ability to set the "Inherited from parent" option.

Any ideas?
