How to automatically close linked issue when Epic is closed?

I want to change status of all linked issue (CR,Task, TR) automatically under Epic from Resolved to Closed, when Epic is closed. It means an automatic transition of linked issue.

We use data center Jira. Would be helpful if step by step solution is provided.

I have not found any solution to this yet. We do have option to write a groovy script but I am new to groovy scripting. Would be helpful if someone can provide a solution for this through scriptrunner or something manual.

Hi @Shweta Satpathy , are you using any Jira app (plugin), such as JMWE, JSU, ScriptRunner, etc?

Hi @David Fischer _Appfire_ Yes we do use ScriptRunner.
