How is the relation between the teams created in BigPicture to manage resources/capacity and assigning issues to teams in Jira?
In our case stories are assigned to teams in Jira and each team have their kanban/scrum board filtered by team (built in team field from plans or another custom field).
Is there a way to either expose the teams created in BigPicture to be able to use this in Jira as mentioned above, alternative to configure BigPicture to use an existing Jira team field (from plans or custom)?
Right now it seems that it is needed to have duplicate teams (standard Jira field + BigPicture team field) to be able to achieve what is mentioned above and to also be able to manage resources/capacity in BigPicture.
Is there a solution for not having two different sets of teams?
@Johan Persson , did you ever come up with a solution for this? We are facing the same issue
@Johan Persson I am interested in this is well. I am aware that the Teams field in Jira has a limitation of only allowing a single value (which makes it difficult to have multiple teams work on the same item which would happen with, for example, and epic) but since BigPicture can use the Labels field, it can have multiple teams. It would just be nice to have teams in Jira sync with teams in BigPicture so you don't have to create them twice.
