Seems odd that when an Epic status is Done/Resolved it is not marked as done in Scrum/Kanban boards .
i'm looking for a way to automate it
Hi Boaz,
There are actually three fields that need to get set when you finish/close an Epic - The Status field, the Epic Status field, and the Resolution.
Make sure that you have a post function that sets both the Epic Status and the Resolution to Done when you change the Status to Done (or Epic-Closed or whatever your status name is).

You always have to manually set the Resolution with a post function in your workflow because there are many transitions and many values for the Resolution field. The system would have no idea what values you want to set.
