How do I trigger a different screen (with unique set of values) if an option in a field is selected

For example: 

If option B selected from drop down menu > trigger specific screen with unique fields.

The only way to do this is to have a workflow that has two transitions out of a status - one transition has a condition of "if option is set to x", and using one screen, and the other transtition has the inverse condition and uses another screen.
