I want to automate my test test Using Jira, X-ray, Cucumber and selenium. My Jira is hosted on cloud. Please guide me how can i implement x-ray export to cucumber and get feature file in Selenium and send the Json back to X-ray Jira.
Hi @test varanasi ,
first you have to decide with flow you want to implement: whether you want to use Xray/Jira as the place to edit the cucumber scenarios... or if you want to use git as the master. Depending on this the flow will be slightly different. More info here: https://confluence.xpand-it.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=31622264#TestinginBDDwithGherkinbasedframeworks(e.g.Cucumber)-Workflows
I recommend to have a look at this tutorial for cucumber:
https://confluence.xpand-it.com/display/XRAYCLOUD/Testing+using+Cucumber+in+Java
There's another tututorial for Gwen framework that showcases a bit better the two flows mentioned above: https://confluence.xpand-it.com/display/XRAYCLOUD/Testing+web+applications+using+Gwen+and+Selenium
In sum, you need always to have the Cucumber scenarios in Jira. Then you need to export them as .feature file(s). Then you run them and finally you can import the results. But please see this in more detail in the first link above.
Regards
Sergio

The confluence links aren't working in today's date.
Can you please help out with a working link. That'd be of great help.
Thank you :)
