How can I have ConfiForms send an email upon the submission of a new form?

I am needing a way for ConfiForms to automatically send a new e-mail message to a specific inbox letting the team know about a new submission. I have attempted to utilize the 'ConfiForms IFTTT Integration Rules' Macro with no luck.  I am on Confluence Server.

  • Event: 'onCreated'
  • Choose Action to perform: 'Send Email'
  • Fire IFTTT action only when this condition/filter is met: 'sendemail:true'
  • Recipients:

What am I missing??? Thank you in advance!

Hi @Jonathan Hutson ,

You don't need to put a condition if you want this action be executed when you register the form. (Based on description of condition field, leave it empty and try again)

Thank you for the recommendation.  I have removed the 'fire IFTT' action and still have not received an email upon submitting the form.  Any other thoughts?

@Jonathan Hutson ,Go to Confluence administration -> Mail Servers ,

If you've added a mail server before, click on Send Test Email and make sure it works properly.

The mail server had already been setup within Confluence and I was able to successfully send a 'test email' from the mail server setup page.

As a follow-up, I started over from scratch with the form and the IFTTT macro.  Simplified the macro by only having it email upon creation. I was able to successfully receive the email notification and then started building additional features and information in the IFTTT email macro. Thank you @Parvaneh Zand for your replies and help!
