My business users want me to add another field that testers can log time to on issues called "Estimated Hours". Ideally this would work just like logging regular time and I could also report on the "Estimated Hours". I am not sure the best way to implement this. But I think possibly I can add a category and have users log time to the category. However I can't see where I can add categories as we are not currently using them. FYI I am Jira systems admin. Any advice or link to solution is most appreciated.
Update: It looks like I may be able to use "Plan Time" for this. Not sure if we are using that field. Thoughts?
