Hide TestRail or third party app tabs on JIRA cloud

Sudheer Revuru August 10, 2020

Is there a way to hide Test rail or any third party app tabs on JIRA cloud? For some projects that do not have any integration with Test Rail, I would like to hide the tab For other applicable projects, I should be able to view the tab. These tabs doesn't appear in issue layout for managing the visibility.

Hi @Sudheer Revuru ,

I am unsure about the Cloud variant, but on self-hosted, there is an admin setting where, rather than the default of all projects, you can explicitly list the projects you want to integrate with TestRail. That is what I have done in my instance. I have a little more administrative overhead for, when an engineering team wants a new project, I have to go add that to the configuration. However, the non engineering and non technical projects do not have a TestRail tab in them that way.
