Getting the issue type in script on change event

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we need to pre fill some of the fields based on the issue type selected and this was done using script runner via behavior. But when we change or switch the issue types the pre filled values doesn't clear. i.e. Once when the value is prefilled and even when there is a change in the issue type from create dialog box it remains the same.

Kindly advise on how to clear and populate fields based on the selected the issue type from create issue dialog box. We are currently using Jira 8.x.

We would need to see the script. I think you need to create another one, that will clear those fields upon changing the Issue Type, or you just need to restrict the operation of the script so that it only works for this one issue type, without affecting others.
