For each story in the epic, copy it as subtasks of this story

In automation for Jira I would like with a manual trigger on an epic, for each Story in this Epic, copy twice this Story as sub-tasks of this same Story.

So I make this automation. In clone, I specify parent ticket to be the ticket of the branch (for each Story of the Epic) but unfortunately, it tries to create a sub-task of the epic and not of the Story.

Is it a bug or there is another way to do it?

Hi,

So was the problem that it was cloning with the correct story as its parent, but also cloning the Epic Link so it essentially had two parents?

Is the rule working as expected now?

Cheers,
Brydie [Automation for Jira]
