We have Jira server, and Zephyr for Jira.
I'm in the "Search for Issues" screen, with a filtered list of test issues.
I need to export the summary to Excel, but I only get XML code without the actual summary or other field content.
Is this a known issue? How can I export my test issues' summary without having to copy - paste them individually?
Thanks in advance!
I am looking to exporting only Test Execution Summary. I do not want the steps to be exported. How do I do that? When I export, I get test steps included that undesirable for the audit report.
You can export Zephyr data (tests, steps, executions, step results) to native Excel files (xlsx) using the Better Excel Plugin.
For this specific use case, just hide all other colums, but summary, then click the "Current fields (Better Excel)" options in the "Export" drowdown.

Hi Adi
Please navigate to Tests->Search Test Execution and use the export option to CSV where you can export the summary too
Please refer the screenshots in the link below

Unfortunately, I still get an XML file instead of a table in Excel. Is there a pre-existing issue here I don't know about? Also, I don't have a "csv" option in export. Only "Excel (All Fields)" and "Excel (Current Fields)".
