Error rendering 'com.atlassian.jira.jira-view-issue-plugin:peoplemodule'. Please contact your JIRA administrators

Suddenly I get the error Error rendering 'com.atlassian.jira.jira-view-issue-plugin:peoplemodule'. Please contact your JIRA administrators.
which appears only on an admin's profile.

2/3 administrators face this issue when we try to view a Bug in status "Completed".
On any other case, (status , issue type) everything works fine.
Tell me what kind of information you need in order to solve this issue because
if the 3rd administrator faces this issue too, we will have a major issue during our daily workflow.

The problem was solved as follows :

I removed the "assign issue" permission from the users that has the problem displayed,
and the issue disappeared.

So, it was a permission issue finally.

Is this a bug of the plugin?

Seems like you have a workflow condition from status "Completed" that makes use of an invalid project role. Maybe the project role is deleted.

Check the workflow condition on transitions from "Completed" status and make sure the project roles used in those conditions are valid.

I checked it and all roles exist. What is strange is the fact that ALL users can successfully view the issue without the exception besides 2 administrators out of 3.Below is the pre-condition of the workflow step

Only the assignee of the issue can execute this transition.
Add grouped condition | Delete
Only users in any of following roles can execute this transition: Administrators
Add grouped condition | Edit | Delete

Perhaps is a permission issue?

Are you sure you are looking at the correct workflow? From the error, the project role passed in null and that should happen only when the role id is invalid. Not sure if permissions can cause this. It shouldn't!

I removed the "assign issue" permission, it works.
