Error: "Not a Diagram File" when attempting to Publish a draw.io diagram within a Confluence page

Hannah Tanquary April 5, 2021

I have a Confluence page with several draw.io diagrams on it. To edit them, I click the pencil icon in the upper left of the diagram, make my edits, then click Publish. Starting today, when I click Publish, I get the error:
"Not a Diagram File"

When I click OK, I get a second error:
"Cannot read property 'root' of undefined"

When I click OK on the second error, I get the loading animation indefinitely until I click Close. When I click close, the page loads and the diagram has not been updated.

I'm on Google Chrome version 89.0.4389.114

You can try again now. Once you see version 14.5.8 in the draw editor menu you should then have the fix and be able to save the file.

I'm able to publish now, thanks!
