Epics Map - Clone option not showing

Edited

Hi, I've just installed the app to try the Clone option but I can't see the menu option. Is there anything I need to configure?

Thanks,

Julian

Hi @Julian Bolton

my name is Gracjan from HeroCoders, the team behind the Epics Map app.

Please be informed that the clone function is deprecated, and was removed from our product.

We recommend that our customers use Deep Clone for Jira for cloning epics, which is in active development and continuously supported.

Best Regards,

Gracjan

Thanks for getting back to me @Gracjan Wesołowski _HeroCoders_ , just got a response from your team mate in Support :)

Hello @Julian Bolton

To Clone issues in a project using native functionality you need to have been granted the Clone Issue permission within the project (if it is a Company Managed type of project). I would expect the same to apply to any app that extends the issue cloning functionality.

Talk to your Project Admins and/or Jira Admins to find out if you have that permissions or can get that permission. In a Company Managed project that would be part of the Permission Scheme assigned to the project. Only Jira Admins can modify those.

Hi @Trudy Claspill, thanks for the quick response.

I already have Clone permissions (and am admin). It looks like it's more of a problem with the App than native Jira config.

I'll try to reach out to the app support direct in case they don't see this tagged request.

Thank you for your time :)

Julian
