EazyBI - Capturing Capitalizable Development time

Hi all,

Has anyone used EazyBI to extract hours spent on Cap Dev development?

I am after examples if there are any but essentially i'm wanting to capture how long a story spends in the "with dev", "review" and "test" states.

Our squads don't use the hour estimations in JIRA so it would have to be calculated by Time in Transition or any other means (transitions, time in status ) or something else if you have any thoughts or suggestions.

Thanks,

Hi @Ivan Rangitonga

In eazyBI, you may want to use the predefined measure "Days in transition status" together with particular statuses from the dimension "Tranisition Status". It would do exactly that - count days issue has spent in each of the statuses; if you want to calculate the average over the project or time period, use measure "Average days in transition status" . Read more in the documentation on how the measures work.

See an example report here: https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/cubes/Issues/reports/61947-issue-days-in-selected-status

Best,

Ilze, support@eazybi.com
