Hi
We often have to redo editing of EasyMind because we loos data.
How can you lock a EasyMind so, that only one person at the time can edit it?
Time 0: Person A starts editing EasyMind X
Time 1: Person B starts editing EseyMind X, not seeing Person A is editing it allread
Time 2: Parson A or B saves changes end exit, this changes will be lost
Time 3: Person B or A saves changes end exit, this save overwrites changes from "Time 2"
For other documents we are using Cenote Lockpoint, but locking the MindMap documet does not help, it still can be changed by other users:
Confluence 6.15.4
EasyMind 1.17.0
Cenote Lockpoint 2.0.0
Tested with Chrome Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Lucidchart OnPrem has been discontinued, we switched therefore to draw.io...

But in the meanwhile, we have migrated to the cloud services.

Collaborative editing is not supported by EasyMind, as it is not supported by most other Confluence Apps.

Hi @liu , @Samuel Huber
My name is Martin and I am the leader of our product team at MoroSystems. Unfortunately, I have to confirm that EasyMind does not currently support collaborative mode. However, we are already exploring technical options that will allow us to implement this functionality as we take it for must-have function in 2023.
The assumption is that we could start implementation in late November and early December. However, the workload is unclear to us for now, i.e. I cannot give you a current completion date. If you send me your email addresses at martin.bayer@morosystems.cz, I will keep you updated.
If you have any questions, please contact me via email or create a task on our service board: https://morosystems.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/14/user/login?destination=portal%2F14
Thank you very much and have a nice day
Martin

Hi Samuel,
To comment on the Lockpoint side of things:
Lockpoint directly supports locking for editing attachments through the Atlassian Companion and Edit in Office features, as well as all other ways that a standard Confluence install can possibly update an attachment using internal features. However, support for locking with specific third-party Confluence apps that provide their own paths for file editing is done on a case-by-case basis.
We do offer an integration with Gliffy that is already built-in. In order for EasyMind to take equivalent advantage of Lockpoint's locking support, they would need to get in touch with us and implement some software changes so that they can have Lockpoint update the lock status accordingly.
I recognize that this doesn't help you solve the direct problem right now, but with some coordination with EasyMind, perhaps this will be possible in the future.
If we can help further with this or anything else related to Lockpoint, we are happy to respond to your comments here or at Cenote Support.
With best regards,
Scott

Hi Scott
Thanks for your clarification of Lockpoint.
We have decided us to work with a few plugins and in general we are very happy with them:
An integration/cooperation with Lockpoint would be a great solution.
I mentioned your comment in the Jira Issue I created:

Best regards,
Sam
