We have Easy Agile installed. When viewing all the Epics and Stories via the Story Map, if we apply a Quick Filter to show only specific Issues based on their label, the Stories, Bugs, Sub-tasks etc are all correctly filtered from the view. However, Epics that also have Labels are not included in the filter for some reason.
How can the Story Map be made to filter Epics based on their Label using a Quick Filter?
Hi David.
Great question. Within the Filters dropdown there is a checkbox option to "Apply quick filters to Epics" (pictured below). It is disabled by default.
Please be aware that quick filters are combined with "AND" and that it is possible to put clauses specific to Epics in your quick filter. i.e.
(issueType = 'Epic' and labels in ('epic-type-1', 'epic-type-2') OR (issueType = 'Story' and labels in ('story-label-1', 'story-label-2')
Please let me know how you go.
Cheers!
