Hi! Im new to Zephyr. From what I understand after adding Zephyr we can create "Test", add test steps in Test details section. Our plan is to
1. add BDD style test steps (Jbehave style)
2. Automate the step definitions with selenium
3. Download the Test at run time
4. Execute the Tests
5. After execution upload test results back to Zephyr test
Im not able find and material on above lines. It would be of great help if anyone can throw light on how to achieve this. Please throw some light on any APIs or libraries which can help me in achieving this.
You need to install cucumber for jira and integrate with zephyr to achieve this
Please go over the document : https://cucumberforjira.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/C4JD/pages/7176197/BDD+with+Zephyr+for+Jira+and+Cucumber+for+Jira
Thanks for the quick response. We already have JbehaveForJira plugin and have our tests automated tests running with Jbehave (serenity FW). We moving to cucumber for jira is not a possibility for now :(
So is it possible to integrate Zephyr with automation test suite (BDD steps mapping stepdefs - as in any other BDD FW) ?
Does Zephyr provide API to download test and update test results ?
To integrate zephyr with BDD cucumber framework, cucumber for jira is Mandatory plugin.
If you have other framework results file like junit, TestNg, selenium you can use atom feature in zephyr where you can create and update your automation results
You can enable ATOM feature by navigating to project settings
