Does Scriptrunner for Jira Cloud support Jira Automation Cloud Rules actions?

I have seen that "run a script" option for Jira server does not seem to be available as an option on our Jira cloud setup.  We leverage automation rules heavily and have recently added in Scriptrunner too.   

Is the only way to support running a ScriptRunner script from Jira Automation is via a web request automation action that is configured to call a rest api endpoint configured in ScriptRunner?

Thank you for your question.

I can confirm that ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud does not have the same functionality to run automation rules like the server version can currently and you can see a full comparison in the differences between the plugins in the documentation page here.

If this a feature you would be interested in seeing then I would ask you to suggest this in our public backlog located here so that our product owner can see this.
