I want to upgrade my jdk version on ubuntu 12.04 from jdk 1.6 to jdk 1.7.

I've had no problem with the SDK 4.2.9 so I can only assume 4.2.10 will run well.

On a side note, I've published plugins using JDK 1.7 and customers wrote reviews saying it didn't work. It's because they keep using JDK 1.6, even though it's been deprecated for a year. So if you do that, it's probably better to test for the JDK version in your plugin installation wizard.
