Hi folks,
I've set up a custom field in Jira Cloud. It is a radio button type with three options, and the field appears on the screens I need it to.
I can change/set the value of this custom field, but whenever I refresh the screen and click on the ticket, the value is reset to null.
Any ideas?
Hi @Jim Strange
What does the history say in the activity section? There could be some automation that is putting it back.
Embarrassingly, it was my mistake. When I select an option in a radio button, it looks like it's been updated. But you have to click away from the field for the update to actually be confirmed.
This is obviously quite common behaviour for Jira, but for radio buttons it's not at all obvious that the selection hasn't been confirmed.
