Current user data in send webhook

Fernando Boucquez (PPL) February 1, 2019

Hi Codebarrel!

Is it possible to send the account id of the current user/user that performed the action when sending a webhook?

Something like {{user.accountId}}

I'm using automation for jira lite.

Cheers

Fernando

Hi Fernando,

It depends on the trigger you use (not all of them provide it) but you can access the user that performed the action via {{initiator.accountId}} in cloud, or {{initiator.key}} in server.

Thanks Brydie, {{initiator.accountId}} did the trick.

Cheers

Fernando
