Confiforms: Using Smart Classifier entries for filtering

I have another Confiforms thing which I do not get to work by myself:

I have a smart classifier in my form with three fields from source form. One option in the first sub field of the smart classifier is "other". Whenever "other" has been selected in the smart classifier (fisrt subfield), I want to have another text field named "other" to be displayed, other than that hidden.

name of smart classifier: choice

name of fields in smart classifier: t1,t2,t3

name of text field: otherdesc

I have a Rules for field definition macro with following configuration

Field name (or regular expression): choice.t1

Condition: ![entry.choice.t1]:other

Action: Hide field

Actionable field name: otherdesc

This was the configuration I expected, but the text field is always shown. If I change the smart classifier field name to "choice" in the both rules configuration options above, the text field is hidden, but will not be shown with reversing the rule or adding another rule without the ! negation. I would be happy for any help.

Rules are to be set on fields, not (field) expressions

choice.t1 -> choice

Conditions are to check a FIELD to match against the VALUE

(set with reverse rule option as well)
