Comala - Submit and Approval at the same State possible?

Hi Users, it it possible in a Comala Document Workflow to use a submit to two other states (A and B) and a submit to C at the same state?

If i test it, just the submit function is visible, the approval not. (approval with a group that can approve).

Has anyone an idea?

Hi @Kay

Welcome to the community!

If I have understood correctly, you want to give your users the option to either approve a page or submit it to a different state. It's not possible to combine the submit and approval transitions on a state, however I can suggest some alternatives:

  • Use a 'Select state' transition (different from a Submit transition) that allows your user to select from a list of states
  • Use the approve / reject labels on your approval to rename the options that your users see

Below I have listed some pages in our wiki that may be helpful. Alternatively our friendly support team (https://support.comalatech.com) will be happy to help, it would be really useful if you could attach a copy of your workflow markup as a text file (https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CDML/Markup+editor+in+workflow+builder)

All the best
